The All India Plastics Manufacturers’ Association (AIPMA) and German POLYKUM Association agree a collaboration

Merseburg, 24 February 2020 According to first talks in January at the "PLASTIVISION" fair in Mumbai the All India Plastics Manufacturers’ Association (AIPMA) and the POLYKUM association, rooted in the Central German „Chemical Triangle“, agreed concrete steps of a long-term collaboration.

For example, the AIPMA will attend the international congress „BIOPOLYMER – Processing & Moulding“ and „Mitteldeutscher Kunststofftag“, a joint event on 16/17 June 2020 in Halle (Saale), Germany, as an official partner. Represantative Dr. Raju Desai will give an introductory lecture on the „Market potential of biodegradable polymers in India“. AIPMA ensured to communicate the congress to Indian companies and institutes actively.

The both associations agreed further to support each other in organizing technical conferences, network meetings and the exchange of industry/ business delegations in India and Germany. The two partners ensured to help interested member companies and institutions to find partners within the other country. They agreed on routinly exchange of information on technological development and market data. The talks shall be continued during the next months.

was founded in 1945. Counting more than 22.000 members AIPMA is one of the oldest & largest Apex bodies of the Plastic Industry in India. Die „The „POLYKUM - Association for the Promotion of Polymer Development and Plastics Technology“
