The International Congress “BIOPOLYMER – Processing & Molding” has been bringing together experts on the topic of bio-based and biodegradable plastics since 2018 – and in conversation with users and processors from all over the world. Participants from more than 40 countries (online and on site) have made the symposium one of the most important of its kind in the world. The event, organized annually by the support association POLYKUM e.V., is valued for the particularly practical, user-oriented lectures. Become a central part of this congress and of its community: Present your research results at the “BIOPOLYMER – Processing & Molding” congress 2024! What type of content can be submitted?
Innovations in the field of bio-based and biodegredable plastics, in particular:
- New or significantly improved materials, products, machines or components.
- Innovative Technologies for producing, examining or processing biopolymers.
- New inventions/ research & development results of the last 2 to 3 years (in exceptional cases of up to 5 years, if the content is relevant for todays applications).
- Practical experiences and real measurements – not very first ideas.
- Important new developments in the field of legal or political frameworks or of important markets concerning the biopolymer industry.
- Strong relevance for processors, applicators and product developers.

Über POLYKUM e. V.

POLYKUM e. V. – "Promotion of Development for Polymer and Plastic Technology in Germany" has its most important task in the promotion of knowledge, innovation and technology transfer and the cooperation of especially small and medium-sized enterprises among themselves and with science along the value chain. The manifold activities and measures for this include the regular maintenance of contacts with the members, the organization of workshops and scientific specialist events on industry-specific focal points, the organization of joint stands at regional and international trade fairs.
