This year’s BIOPOLYMER Congress opened with a special gesture: Sven Schulze, Minister for Economy, Tourism, Agriculture and Forestry of the State of Saxony-Anhalt, addressed the congress participants via a video message, symbolically delivering the opening address.
The organizer, POLYKUM e.V., expressed its pride and gratitude for this show of political support. The Minister’s video message highlights the growing importance of sustainable, bio-based, and biodegradable plastics—not only for the economy and the environment, but also as a forward-looking topic on the political agenda.
