The House of Transfer (HoT) project team would like to invite you to take part in our Creativity Challenge.
Our team brings together expertise, the latest research findings, and a strong network across four key areas: bioeconomy, chemistry, plastics, and hydrogen. Together, we are working to accelerate the structural transformation of the Central German region through active knowledge transfer. To achieve this, we need your support!
What is it about?
Help us design an exhibition piece that showcases our four focus areas—created using a 3D printer.
We are looking for creative drawings or concepts that depict bioeconomy, chemistry, plastics, and hydrogen as rooms within a house: visionary, innovative, and focused on the future of the Central German region.
Whether artistic, conceptual, or presented as a best-practice example, your submission should demonstrate how innovation is taking shape in the region.
Why participate?
The four best submissions will receive awards, recognition, and valuable networking opportunities with potential employers as well as representatives from science and industry.
• Two tickets to the National Bioeconomy Conference 2026 (June 2026, Berlin) – Discover the latest innovations in the bioeconomy and build a network with international experts.
• Two tickets to the Biopolymer Congress 2026 (15–16 June 2026, Halle) – Take a deep dive into bio-based and biodegradable plastics with international experts.
• An exclusive tour of the Leuna chemical site – Go behind the scenes (16 June 2026) with a renowned industry partner.
• Your design will become part of the official House of Transfer exhibition at a trade fair, with the opportunity to receive a miniature version of your exhibit.
How can you participate?
Create an account: Register on the Crowd Innovation Plattform. Choose a topic: Imagine your vision of one or more future fields (bioeconomy, chemistry, plastics, hydrogen—or a combination).
Visualize your idea: Create an image or sketch (any tool may be used, including AI) that can be implemented in a building-block format.
Describe it briefly: Why did you choose this field? What do you think its future will look like? What associations do you have with this field and the region?
The submission deadline is 31 January 2026. We look forward to receiving your creative ideas!
